This month started with tinkering day and night, trying to bring my puter back to life. Not financially enough to just hop on another decent machine, but hey creativity loves constraints!
Fully hyperfocused on Linux. Earlier this year, I had installed Linux, but I didn’t make it my primary OS. This time it’s time to be serious for a full dive-in. In the process, I became a hopperslop, researching several systems that met my criteria and ideals. And eventually, I’m sticking with NixOS, and ditching Windows from my main machine.
Windows error has cancelled my plans for this month’s quest and disrupted Q3-Q4 projection. I need to make a new map to learn the new paradigm.
The process was brutal for me, sacrificing my schedule and sanity. Brutally honest, system error and getting betrayed, two of my motorcycles got robbed and flown to another island with someone I trusted for starting my first business, makes me kinda lost and depressed, my trust issue is getting humongous… But I’m pretty glad with my nerdiness, I can easily move on, continue to focus on my own things. I simply believe karma exists.
And yeah, Linux saves me, making me fall in love with computers at a deep level that other systems simply can’t reach.
