After brute forcing my algo looking into “Craft Without Bait” in Xitter timeline, I conclude: every creation that spawn in “For You” is lucky, chosen by algo. But the other part is screaming for visibility.
I see plenty creator with fewer than 100 follower that crashing out in timeline. There’s one concept artist that posting their work on here for THREE consecutive years, yet their work didn’t even pass two figure likes.
I mean they’re not bad nor slop, they really put the effort with their post. But tbh it mid like those 2015 League splash art. Feel sad since I know how hard and long to make something like that by hand.
Not just in art, in dev, in tech, in whole creative space. I don’t even have will to validate their feeling, I don’t have energy to be their savior. So I just screenshot it and save it for my reflection.
In the other part that noisy, nothing deep, nothing bring value whatsoever, only brings echoes. They get big attention and still weep about it.
I like the part that really didn’t trying become anything but yourself, having a good time interacting with their oomfies with the same interest. And somehow it could bring the most enjoyment to do this app.
